freebsd recompiling kernel gives seg fault :*(

i have a server @ NAC/15min and I just tried recompiling the kernel and got a Error code and segmentation fault. This was when I tried it the second time.. the first time the machine just hung and I couldnt even access it, had to issue a reboot.

I had this problem with the first server with them, when it would put up a segmentation fault randomly during buildworld/buildkernel, so I had a new server given to me and now it looks like it did it again. freebsd recompiling kernel gives seg fault :*( I dont know what happened, all i added was:

options     IPFIREWALL_VERBOSE
options     IPFIREWALL_VERBOSE_LIMIT=45

options     HZ=1000
and aside from that, i havent done anything to the machine in 2 weeks (no control panel, no bind/apache anything running, just sitting idle)

does anyonr have any idea what could be wrong? it happened to the first server, but now the 2nd? freebsd recompiling kernel gives seg fault :*( it's freebsd 5.2.1 by the way
