Godaddy Password Problems
I purchased a hosting package with Godaddy 52 hours ago as of this writing. I've been on the phone with their tech support 5 times in an attempt to log onto my IP using FTP. You know... so I can UPLOAD CONTENT. Like a WEB PAGE maybe? They couldn't figure it out. I changed my password 4 times at their request, and even told the tech support guy what my password was at one point so HE could try logging in. All to no avail. For whatever reason my password isn't being accepted, no matter what. They told me that the "advance tech support team" would be contacting me within 24 hours. Personally, I think that is B.S. Why should -I- have to wait 24 hours for THEM to contact ME? I'm *this* close to dropping them like a sack of wet crap and moving on.I tried using CuteFTP, FireFox, and IE to log in, playing with caps lock on, off, etc... Does anyone have any insight?
