Basic MySql inquiry
I have just moved top a host who uses Cpanel so it is new to me.
I am trying to set up dbs and link my php sites to them but get messages such as this..
In Site 1 I get this..
Warning: mysql_num_rows(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/aussieau/public_html/phpauction/index.php on line 340
Database access error. Please contact the site administrator.
and the Site 2 I get this..
Warning: mysql_pconnect(): Access denied for user: 'webmaster@localhost' (Using password: YES) in /home/care2quo/public_html/functions/database.php on line 5
Unable to connect to database server!
I am now confused as to what to enter my dbase name and user in my files as.
Cpanel shows them direrently to what I created. It also uses my site ID.
Should I use..
john2quote as the db or john2quo_john2quote ?
john2quo_webmast or webmaster as the user
I have checked all perms and they seem all okay, according to phpMyadmin the dbs are there with the tables and data.
These are both php auctions sites which did work on previous hosts.
Any help please?
