squirrelmail and horde

Hi i have installed squirrelmail and i would like to install horde and i would like to know if horde will see the folders of squirrelmail, and all the emails of each folders.

Does anyone can tell me where can i find a horde documentation for to install?.
What security i must apply on horde?
