thttpd issue

Ok, we are using thttpd to make our site to load a lot faster (to slow down the use of apache and have too many apache instances running (keepalive is set as Off)).

The thing is that for some very weird reasons, every page that use thttpd takes exactly 30 seconds to load (Debug: 30.06 secs) every 2 or 3 minutes. Pages that do not use thttpd load without any kind of lag (so the problem is not the server or any sofware (apache or whatever). I have tested it a lot and the only difference is the use of thttpd or not.

Anyone got an idea why this is happening? We have used thttpd before and it never did that.

BTW, it is using port 1338 but since that it is on a dedicated server, port do not matter much.
