Server running deadslow + httpd

Hmm, this morning I awoke to find the server using 10x its normal bandwidth in the matter of an hour or two + user httpd shwing 110+ CPU usage 3 times over.

Is there a way to track how many connections are being made, from which IP, and to see if its the website or the server being connected too?

One client shows 102 Connections in Apache, I doubt thats normal?
