Suggestion required
I want to have to have a script which monitors my webseerver and mail server. Web Server may be IIS or Apache it should monitor and if it is not responding or actual website is not working then it should alert me. For Qmail I want to check whether mails are being delivered or not.
I want to have this has a remote script ? Does any one know about it.
Also I would like to have the following suggestions :-
Currently our hosting of wesbite on Linux or Win2k is manual also we don't have the facility for customers to check their billing and the package they have taken.
I would like to have following things.
1. Web Based Interface for customers to see their hosting package either in Linux or WinNT with it's renewal date. Also they can submit the trouble ticket.
2. Easy control panel for Admin to create IP Address for the customers
3. Also if possible customer having Linux CP or Win2000 CP to manage their domains.
Actually speaking I want ot automate our hosting thing from billing to customer creating their IP address. But we all require centralization for it.
Is there any readymade software which can help us to make our task easy or we have to make a customized software. I would prefer a readymade software to make this thing faster.
