Wildcards are on, need to to turn it off (Fedora 1, Webmin, VPSColo)

Hi,
for some reason my VPSColo has wildcards on by default...unless I messed up somehow. Even uf448dheuifui.domain.com returns the domain-com page. Now I use webmin and the options are exactly the same as an another server --the "Allow wildcards (not recommended)" is at NO--but wildcards are still activated on this one.

I need them turned off since it can cause dupe problems with search engines if someone links to the site by mistake.

Can someone please guide me to how to do this? I have full access and can edit Wildcards are on, need to to turn it off (Fedora 1, Webmin, VPSColo)
