Need advice: Is there a way to garauntee 100%WebsiteUptime over two hosting accounts?

After my fourth episode of webprovider downtime without notice, unreasonable 72hour tech support response time ...& a defacto client business killer...

Is there a way to use two hosting accounts (at two different providers) to daisychain, or to make redundant a website to insure 100% uptime?

When my current provider goes down, for whatever reason, (other than network problems which is area wide) and there is no communication -- for days at a time, I lose cleints.

Is there such a daisychain approach (or other strategy) anyone can use, using multiple hosting account/reseller hosting account at two different providers to maintain 100% uptime?...as I'm tired of providers disappearing off the face of the earth when my website goes down.

Any thoughts or opinions, or links to forum topics?
