CNAME problem
I've been using CNAMEs for a few years now, and sort of took it for granted that servers understand how to handle CNAMEs. This past 24 hours I learned different. For DNS zone aloof.net (using enom nameservers), I have the following defined:
aloof CNAME aloof.net.
servint CNAME servint.com.
http://aloof.aloof.net/ loads CPanel's "There is no website configured at this address." error page instead of the correct http://aloof.net/ . aloof.net is a new VPS account at servint.
http://servint.aloof.net/ correctly loads the servint.com website.
Servint thinks there may be a problem with my DNS (ie, enom), but I think since both aloof.aloof.net and servint.aloof.net use the same enom DNS, then the problem is with my VPS server.
I'm stumped.
