Mailman problem...makes me pull my hair out

I am having a really strange mailman problem: When someone sends a message to the mailman list the server is getting very slow: Now I had a look at the mailing queue and it lists some of the mailman emails sent from mailman-bounces@blabla.com to anyuser@aol.com, for example. Now when I try to deliver the message Exim runs for 20 seconds without doing anything but to take all the CPU resources...

Why is that ? It only happens when I try to deliver those emails that are comming from the mailman-bounces address. Exim works fine with other emails but as soon as I try to deliver an email that is comming from mailman-bounces it waits for 20 secs.

The problem is whenever they send an email to the list like 50 Exim processes are running taking the server down and they do never finish before you stop exim. What is wrong with that mailman address ??

I mean its really wired because the mailman address is just the "from" address... That shouldn't have an impact on the email - but it does. It works with any other from address but not the mailman one.
