Unable to send email

First let me tell ya my setup:

1) Dedicated Windows 2003 server hosting my site.
2) Hosting my email on another server (directadmin).

On my site I have a form for customers to fill out, for some reason I can set any email on the script BUT my domain email address and it will work fine. If I set it to my own I get the message below:

This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification.

Delivery to the following recipients failed.

myemail@mydomainname.com

-------------------

Final-Recipient: rfc822;myemail@mydomainname.com
Action: failed
Status: 5.5.0
Diagnostic-Code: smtp;550 authentication required

It looks like it's trying to authenticate on my windows server Unable to send email . I dont need it to authenticate on my server I just want the email to go to my domain email address. Again I've used my home ISP email address and it works fine.
