Windows 2003 - Setting Folder Security with Text file ...
Some hosting companies are offering setting of folder security with a text file.
e.g. you create a text file with user Ids and passwords and only these users have access to the folder. MS access database can also be used.
Does anyone know how this is done. I can't seem to find anything.
The only way I know is to setup the NTFS permission. However the text file method is very useful for a shared server.
