sis900 device does not seem to be present

I have bought a new server to host clients on as I'm not happy with a Celeron showing up on the list of servers I am using.

This Celeron is:
MSI Motherboard
Intel Celeron 2.4ghz
512MB DDR
30GB HDD

The new server is:
SuperMicro Serverboard
Intel Pentium(4) 3.0Ghz (800FSB/1MB)
1GB DDR
80GB HDD

I want to host the content of the 30GB hdd on the PIV. I do not want to use the DirectAdmin backup/restore-tool, because it takes too much time and big chances than things will be different after moving.

So I went to the datacenter and place the PIV-server. I placed the 30GB in the PIV and booted the server.

Everything gaved [OK], except for network, which I am getting this error:
"sis900 device does not seem to be present""

But when I change /etc/modules.conf and make it e1000 (as I have an Intel Gigabit onboard-lan-card), it still doesn't work. I'll still get an error.

To prevent downtime I was unable to test if installing the Intel-network-card-drivers would completely solve this issue... but what do u guys think?

I have restored the 30GB-hdd in the old Celeron now. How do I prepare this hdd-move for the next time I go to the datacenter? Just download inteldrivers.tar.gz on /root/ of the 30GB-hdd and i'll install it afterwards when i'm at the dc?
