Multiple Nameservers from One Domain
Okay, I have a weird situation that is causing me alot of trouble althrough I'm sure other hosts have found an easy way to get this to work.I have ONE Server where my primary domain is at, let's call it hosting.com - At Hosting.com I have my two nameservers NS1.HOSTING.COM & NS2.HOSTING.COM.
>>Hostname is SERVER1.HOSTING.COM
My Website Hosting.com is using those two nameservers NS1.HOSTING.COM & NS2.HOSTING.COM and so is the server.
I recently setup another server using the namservers NS3.HOSTING.COM & NS4.HOSTING.COM. Both nameservers work correctly and domains resolve fine. However, I am getting problems with my hostname, which leads to some other issues.
>>Hostname is SERVER2.HOSTING.COM
I contacted my datacenter (I have some managed services help) and they told me that I need to make entries for NS1.HOSTING.COM & NS2.HOSTING.COM on my DNS Record for SERVER2.HOSTING.COM
Now currently my Host Record for the new server is SERVER2.HOSTING.COM and the nameservers for it are set as NS3.HOSTING.COM & NS4.HOSTING.COM, should I change those to NS1 & NS2?
Basically in essense I am trying to setup FOUR Nameservers for my one domain. That one domain is hosted on one server, and uses two nameservers. Other server uses two other nameservers.
What is best way to go about this?
Thanks for any help provided
