MRTG Installation?

Okay.. I am installin mrtg, and i'm not sure what to do with the configuration, i'm at the step of making a config file, the documentation says to run this command..

cfgmaker --global 'WorkDir: /home/httpd/mrtg' \
--global 'Options[_]: bits,growright' \
--output /home/mrtg/cfg/mrtg.cfg \
community@router.abc.xyz

but i'm not sure what to put in for my router i want to monitor.. i imagine i would want to monitor traffic on eth0, but how do i determine this..

by the way i'm running red hat 9 and apache..
