HTTPD / APACHE failing constantly...

Hello,
my server keeps sending me apache failed messages and restart was attempted autogmatically.

Is there a BETTER script out there or something that will reboot ALL services that are offline every 30 seconds or immediately after they go down???? I do not want to have to worry constantly about if apache or some other service failed and failed reboot, everything will be down until the next time I can get to the computer. when apache fails even, PING replies. So things that check the box like siteuptime.com don't do a good job at all, since it states my box is online 24/7 and really it's PING that it checks, not apache.

I prefer one time costs, I have an extra pc I can use to setup a program that checks the status of the box and reboots it automatically if something goes wrong, I just don't know what program/script I need.

I guess cpanel already comes with this message:

Service Monitor chkservd@serveremail.com
Show options Jan 21 (15 minutes ago)

apache failed @ Sat Jan 22 00:57:24 2005. A restart was attempted automagicly.

ALSO,
When I leave the putty client in the command prompt normally, and not press any keys, it will time out after a few minutes - days. It's totally random. Sometimes it times out 5 minutes after I used it, and sometimes it stays connected for several days and still takes input commands. It lasts MUCH longer when I leave "top" running in putty, sometimes it goes 3 days sometimes only like 2-8 hours. Who do I fix this to make it so it never times out and can leave putty running 24/7 ?
