cPanel's /webmail directory

Is there a way to keep cpanel from using a weird port when a user goes to theirdomain.com/webmail/

The reason i want to do this is because many people can't access their accounts from their work. Their work blocks the port that it is on but I'm not sure how to change this or if it is a good idea.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
