APF Firewall is Offline and Taking Logs?!?

The APF Firewall, makes huge logging in var/log/messages , even the status of it is shown as Jan 24 20:55:55 ***** apf(4213): firewall offline

What is the reason behind this? Is it useful and if we want how can we stop it? Thank you for your attention and time.


Ps: It always takes this kind of log:
