I have HDD PROBLEM :(

Hello ,
I have 2 Drives in my servers as you seen there
root@host [/backups]# df -h
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/hda3 72G 66G 2.4G 97% /
/dev/hda1 99M 26M 68M 28% /boot
/dev/hdc1 74G 50G 21G 71% /backups

but the problem now it's told me that / used 97% and when i enter du -h --max-depth=1 on / i found that backup taking 50GB but it's on the other hard drive so how i can fix the problem ?
