We have recently setup our new VPS server and have installed hyperVM with openvz on there.
I have setup the vps node and can succesfully make a ssh connection to it. However i have come to install c-Panel on it and i receive this error near the end of the installation: Installing compilers and ssl libraries...+....++............................+++....++............................++Could not install gcc, please check your package manager! at ./install line 483.
I have rebuilt the VPS and have installed gcc and gclib manually. Then i try to install c-Panel again and i get the error: Your operating system's rpm update method (yum) was not able to locate the glibc package. This is an indication of an improper setup. You must correct this error before you can proceed.
Would somebody be able to point us in the right direction or tell me what is happening and how i could possibly fix it please?
