web server file system
normal hosting setup would be something like
/
/boot
/var
/usr
/home
was thinking about creating one for mysql databases and seperate /tmp ?
File systems, usually hosting provider uses extn3, although it stable it is slow. I have used reiserfs and xfs on own maching and local severs and these are much faster, xfs being good for large files.
Any feedback on suggestion and experiences?
server will be dual xeon 2.0 with 73gb scsi
