enterprise security measures
ello!we're making a proposal for a company here, and they're in need of a extremely good and reliable security system that encrypts the information in the database, the php files and any other important information (ie: word/excel documents).
this would be attacked by an external company to make sure it works nicely.
i was wondering what your stance on zend/ioncube would be for protection/value. what would be the better program to use to encrypt key files on the web server. etc.
this is a list of a few security options, and was wondering what might be a good setup.
1. Database Encryption Software or Hardware Systems.
2. SSL
3. RSA SecureID Authenticators, so they have to supply their own username/password + rsa key code.
4. Have an external company perform penetration testing.
i'd like to hear any suggestions and opinions on the matter at hand. a quick response would be good too

thank-you.
