Need DNS Server/Software Recommendation.

Looking to implement DNS Servers with their software. Am targeting for a mid volume lookup (I am NOT sure of the number of look ups per day as of yet, am getting that information).

What is a good recommendation for OS and software to use. I'm leaning toward Sun boxes - very stable. I have no qualms with Windows either.

Something that is GUI based and easy to configure and perhaps even interface with through web-based scripts for clients, etc. but the latter is just an option.

Any experienced thoughts would be welcome.
