Recent webhost aquisition has questions

In september 2004 I bought an existing webhosting company. This company went under and has 300+ accounts. They were down for as much as 5 days when I bought it.

I manually went through and deleted the accounts of those who had left (rightly so) and worked on contacting existing people to get them up and running properly.

Now the question is how does one keep track of those domains who may not actually be resolving to your webhosting company any longer? For example i have 312 accounts. Out of those 312 accounts, maybe 100 have been in my billing system. I elected to not shut off the sites that were not paid simply because My costs are fixed and Id rather work to get these clients satisfied.

Is there some utility that will go through my cpanel accounts and tell me where they resolve to or do I need to do this manually?

If anyone is capable of writing me a script or something that will do this, please contact me and I will pay for it.
