remote mysql server?
I have 2 servers that need to be configured, web and MySQL.
Web server is configured as 192.168.1.2 while MySQL is 192.168.1.1 internally.
However, after editing the vbulletin config.php that MySQL "servername (IP)", the board showed mysql error. However, if I change it to the public (external) IP of the MySQL server, everything worked.
Did I missed something out? (I have also added 192.168.1.2 as MySQL allowed access host to)
Both of the servers could ping each other.
