What PHP version should i upgrade to?
Which is the latest rpm i should upgrade to?
I have the following PHP rpm installed, do i need to upgrde all?
php-mysql-4.1.2-2.2
asp2php-0.75.17-1
php-4.1.2-2.2
php-ldap-4.1.2-2.2
php-pgsql-4.1.2-2.2
asp2php-gtk-0.75.17-1
php-imap-4.1.2-2.2
Two of my customers mailed me asking the following;
- "I am installing phplivesupport.com, i need PHP v4.3.9 or later for compatibility"
- "I am facing problem with setup of Zen Cart, There is a bug in some builds of php 4.1.2 that prevents the global $SESSION array from working properly, recommend upgrade PHP to 4.1.3"
I would like to make sure that upgrading php does not break anything for existing php scripts as i hear php is known for making radical changes across versions.
