3 really basic questions (like diff b/w Mbps & MBps)
Hi, I'm a beginner to all this and was hoping I could get some information! Thanks so much for reading this!1) Difference between Mbps (megabit/s) and MBps (megabyte/sec)? All speeds I see for hosts generally give you 100 Mbps or something like that, but I've never seen 100 MBps or anything - is that ridiculously high? Any insights on this?
2) A webhost whose site I saw said their 'uplink port speed' was 20 Mbps unmetered, and they have unlimited bandwidth as well. How does this work? What's the difference between bandwidth and 'uplink port speed'? What exactly is this 'uplink port speed' to begin with? Never heard of it

3) Webhosts offer options for number of IP addresses. What is the advantage of having 70 IP addresses over having 1, or having 5? To illustrate this difference better, pretend I'm a bigger corporate client or something like that. I wanna understand the conceptual advantages to more IP addresses.
Thanks so much for reading this, I hope you smart people on this website can help me out with your information and insights. I'm really interested in all this and hope you can help me. Thanks again, I appreciate it!
