Reboots - what do you check prior ?
As the title suggests, before you issue a reboot (on a linux server) what checks do you perform?
Maybe log out users who were in shell etc.
What checks can be done to see whether a fsck is going to be done upon reboot.. etc etc
I'm talking about a planned reboot here, not a time where the server is spiralling out of control or anything.
Your input would be appreciated, as I am interested to know what you all do or whether you just simply login and type reboot and don't think too much.
