CentOS probelms holding IP's?

Ok,

So I have this problem, that whenever I reboot a machine with CentOS something happens to all the IP's except for the MAIN IP. All the aliases (i think thats what you call them), meaning other IP's on the server, suddenly fail. They don't just not resolve however, they start bouncing between routers, never making it to my server. I get a TTL Expired error, and a tracert shows them bouncing between routers. The NOC said that it is because the PTR record for the IP got cleared on the router. One tech said he had a problem with another client, having the same thing happening to him running centos 3.3, and he had to change OS's, he said it might have something to do with the MAC address that the kernel reports changing on reboot or something like that, which would cause the record to be dropped at the router.

Is their anyone who can help shed some light on this?

Thanks.
