want to make sure i understand something right

So I just want to make sure I understand something right.

If I have three servers lets say, and they are all clustered together using cpanel's dns cluster thing, and one is the main server.

Now, if all the domains on the three servers are pointing to ns1.myhost.com and ns2.myhost.com and lets say ns1.myhost.com resolves to an ip on the first server. So if the first server goes down, that means all the websites on all the servers wont resolve, because it cant resolve ns1.myhost.com?

This cant be how most hosts operate, thats insane that if one server goes down they all have to. How do I get around this? Am I wrong about this? If not, what do I have to do so all the servers wont go down?

Thanks
