Norton Firewall 2005 blocks all SQL.
I got a right pain in the *** problemo at the moment. I have a windows 2000 server running PHP4 and MySQL it also has installed Norton Personal Firewall 2005 for added safety.
The problem: Whenever NPF is enabled it blocks all sql traffic so no accessing anything that requires sql! If i disable it (via right clicking in the system tray) SQL works fine.
I read somewhere on the internet to add 127.0.1 or some IP like that to the 'allow' list of NPF but that didn't work.
So can any of you out there help please?
