I've recently found that those search engine robots cause my site really resource intensive, and I've monitered for a while today and found the reason why my server load was that high (6.5), and finally I found that everytime when Google.com was moving on my Invision Power Board, the load was very high...
So, after a consideration, I decide to ban them all out of my site.
I know it's a pity that I'll lose many chances when people want to find my forums, but I have no other way.
I'm just wondering, is that normal that search engine spiders causing such high server load?? Do they use search on my forums?? Is that the problem of my server???
