perl 5.00503 or perl 5.8.3?

from a FreeBSD server:

any ideas why it's showing 2 versions?

i belive the real installed version is the showed by perl -V (5.00503), but the port shows 5.8.6... even after "portupgrade perl" it's still happening

any suggestions? perl 5.00503 or perl 5.8.3?
