xinetd

i'm using cPanel and, on xinetd, i found that the following are enabled:
- pop-3
- ntalk
- talk
- imap
- sgi_fam

do you recommend disabling everything (except imap)?
cpanel already has the cppop, so I don't see why it would need a pop-3... ntalk and talk doesn't seens to be useful for a hosting company... and i don't know what sgi_fam is
