I'm too stupid... Any one still running Redhat 9??
I was firstly requested my server provider to install CentOS + Plesk for me, I am happy with CentOS has such a good reputation and it's good, they didn't do that due to the reason they believe Plesk doesn't work for CentOS...I then ask them to install FreeBSD + Plesk instead, and now the whole system is just down due to my incorrect manipulating..
Yes, I'm completely new to FreeBSD...
Now I have just sent a reload request to my server provider to reload the whole server with RedHat Linux 9 + Plesk...
I don't know how to run a dedicate server without a control panel, otherwise I'll not choose RedHat Linux 9 -- a system which has stopped developing.
I like to use CentOS if Plesk supports it, now seems I'll have extra things to worry about, am I too stupid to choose RedHat Linux 9 as the OS for my new server when the time everyone is getting away from it? Are there anyone here still running RedHat 9?
Is that a lot more unstable than Redhat Enterprise Linux? Am I putting myself into a bad position?
Thanks for your advising..
