Bypassing a proxy using a persistent connection
We are using a LAN at work, the proxy doesn't allow us to browse the Internet all the time, instead we use it for limited time.
One smart worker bypassed this limitation and he is able to browse the internet all the time! I asked him how? he told me that he installed a proxy on his computer and then established a persistent connection to the proxy and then browsing the internet using the established connection.
my question, Is it really the situation? can you name some of the software used for this purpose?
