Revervse DNS Question

I asked for a reverse DNS be set to point a domain to its dedicated IP.
After a couple of days it still was not showing that it was set up so I asked if they could check and this is the answer I got. Could someone tell me what this means.

ote: nsloote: nslookup is deprecated and may be removed from future releases.
Consider using the `dig' or `host' programs instead. Run nslookup with
the `-sil[ent]' option to prevent this message from appearing.
