RRDNS - 3 servers
Currently I'm using 2 SM unmetered servers using one server as the Master and the other as the slave to achieve RRDNS.The aim is not so much to achieve 100% uptime but to enable files to be spread over the two servers.
The problem though is that both servers have reached capacity and they are slowing down the main pages- so much so that the webpages load very slowly.
So I'm planning on adding another server - only 100mbps - 1TB or less to feed the domain names and navigate the users between the two unmetered servers.
One of the domain has just the webpages, while under it the subdomains carry the data and are going through rrdns.
In this case would I just set up the domain names like the master,
but adding two A entries to the /var/named/domain.db file.(zone file)?
I dont believe hardware is an option as I'm renting from SM, but what other option(software) do I have to achieve the best results.
