SYN flooding, botnets

Hello,

I am selling of ircds, shells.

Lately I have taken many assaults as SYN flooding, which provokes an Overload in the server, coming even 100, 140.

I am not expert in IPtables's managing (Redhat9) have read and followed the instructions of many sites webs to smooth the assaults.

But it seems that it does not work.

I have the services contracted of firewall of sharktech but apparently they only eliminate the major assaults of 5-10 Mbps.

If someone of you has a good managing of iptables or can solve like my problem, please of being contacted by me and I will pay the necessary cost.
