Build a mega server

Hi,

I want to build a mega server. What do you think about the following configuration?

2 HE 19” Case
2 x 400 Watt Power Supply
ASUS NCT-D, XEON Dual, E7525 Mainboard
2 x Pentium 4 XEON 3.6 GhZ HT
8 GB ECC Reg. RAM
4 IDE hot-swap backplanes
2 S-ATA Seagate ST3400 400GB drives (not in a raid array) for backups
4 x IDE WD3200JB 320 GB HDD in a raid 5 array
3ware 64bit Raid Controller- 4 channel
SCSI DLT Tapedrive
3com TX NIC for internal backups to backup-system

Config:
Raid 5 with 3 Discs, 1 hot-spare, total 640GB Space. Fedora 2 with cpanel one time licence.

What do u think is better? IDE or S-ATA drives?
I prefer IDE because I have 3 Controllers left from old servers. Only the controller costs my 900€ (1200$).

Normally I change every 12-24 months all my drives.

I plan to host 2500 domains on this monster box (migration from 8 old boxes). All domains are small accounts with 10-200MB each.

Comments are welcome
