How to start phpBB Forum from Root Directory ??

I signed up 7 days ago with Beachcomber.net after a big failure with another web hoster. It was 50 days of downtimes and long delays to load the Home Page of my tiny baby phpBB Forum.

Everything is Working Fine with Beachcomber and I thank for excellent service.

Beachcomber Support moved my tiny baby phpBB Forum to subdirectory Test, that is in myDomainName.com/test

I don't know if this is a proper topic for support or I should do things myself. Problem is that I am a Fool. Forgive me for being so.

I have tried for several hours to post an instruction in the root directory so that the forum can also be started automatically from the root directory myDomainName.com/ without delays or cumbersome redirections that create troubles for Search Engines but I don't know how to do that. Perhaps an index.php file to put in root directory.

I also would like to upgrade the phpBB from version 2.0.11. to version 2.0.13 but I am afraid of destroying everything as I don't have the instructions of how to fill the fields. And I wasn't able to install the initial Forum after many many hours. I filled the install/install.php one hundred times and it never worked until support did it for me. It seems that this cPanel adds many prefixes and suffixes.
