Seperate Database Server?
I was wondering if anyone knows if its worth it to have a seperate database server? I would think you could get better performance as you could optimize everything for that task specifically. It would also free up disk usage so static html might load faster even when our database is under alot of stress.
Anyone have any real experiences with this (maby an hsphere hoster) and will a fast connection between the servers be fine our should they all be on a private LAN?
