Alrightly then...now do people want to talk about redundancy *now*?
After spending half the night reading the Gigathread(tm) about a certain NOC's power problems yesterday...perhaps now is a good time to ask a few questions and enlighten some folks on this topic...which I would say is of interest to many.
First, I am curious to know why I can't download the files relating to Ultra-Monkey from there...and only from a overseas mirror? Is this project halted? Broke? I cannot believe for 2ms that this is not of interest to many. Anyways...I thought that odd.
I would like to ask: have many people tried doing this fault-tolerant server configs? I'm not talking about clusters in one NOC. It seems to me if such a system were made...and could work...it would be worth much $$$, no? Ok...
Before I go on one of my usual Monsterposts(tm), I really would like to know...do many people care to learn about this? I know tons about it..and only recently have had the means to test them out in action of various VPS's.
