Sorry for the uber-stupid question - I've looked at the --help options but I still can't figure out how to do this. Basically, I want to tar up an entire directory in SSH, but I don't want it to include "foo" and "bar" subdirectories. What is the correct command to accomplish this? Thanks so much for your help...
