) Currently, I have xyz.com on Server A (hosted with company A). My clients on this server are setup at subdomains (them.xyz.com, they.xyz.com, client.xyz.com etc).
I just signed up for a VPS account (let's call it Server B) with company B. I want to transfer some clients with heavy bandwidth from A over to B.
Is there a way to keep their URL them.xyz.com? I did ask around, but was told I needed to add an A entry for them.xyz.com in my WHM at Server B. However, I'm not exactly sure what I'm supposed to be doing.
Do you go straight to the "Edit A entry" section in WHM to modify them or somewhere else? What do you modify/add to them? Do you have to set separate nameservers/IPs up on Server B? Do I need to create a new xyz.com account on Server B? (Server A currently hosts xyz.com with content).
Any help would be much appreciated
