what is local and remote port for a firewall rule?
i've installed a firewall software on my windows server, and i want to add a rule to allow a certain TCP port, but i am kind of confused because it asks me to select the local port and the remote port..
can anyone explain what the difference is? i want to enable port 3389 on my server (for Remote Desktop) do i put 3389 for both local and remote ?
