installing games through remote access.

can you install games using windows xp remote access or some kind of remote access tool?
beacsue i want my friend to install halflife 2 but hes having trouble as he doesnt have a dvd-rom drive. so i want to install it for him on my pc so it shows up on hes pc where he lives.
any ideas if this can be done from the 2 locations?
