Unexplained 0 byte files in my /var/spool/mail folder
Hi All,I'm getting some fairly randomly named files appearing in my mail folder (/var/spool/mail) on redhat linux 7.2
They are owned by a legit user "t_a" and have 0 bytes, so not much of a threat in themselves, though at one stage I did have about 2 thousand of them.
I've searched the logs for instances of the same name, but found nothing. It looks a little like a temp file or a lock file, but they don't seem to clear down after time.
Anyone seen this kind of thing before?
