Server, Software, DNS, or NS problem?
Sorry the start my first post with a problem, but it was trying to research it that I found this forum.
I run several websites, and one, running on a Domino 6 platform, connected to the net via DSL (from Wanadoo in France).
Last week, I started getting emails for my readers saying that they couldn't access the server. But others could ! I myself have good access (I live about 200 km from the server).
So, in recap, some people can access, some can't, and some have slow access. This applies to http access and for rss readers.
So my questions, where does the fauly lie ?? The ISP says they have no problems with their DNS, the NS holder (Yahoo) state no problem. Software hasn't changed for months. Server is running, no errors in the log, memory is fine, speed is fine.
After some 7 days suddenly the site was accessible to all again. Then 12 hours later it stopped again.
So, after this longwinded explanation.... where is it going wrong ???
